Spring is finally here!

We have so many birthdays in May. The best one comes Thursday, as my son turns 11. He was born two days before I turned 30. He will always be one of the best gifts of my life, the other one being the day his sister was born June 24th (20 years ago ). This year will be the first year we won't be celebrating Ash's day with her as she'll still be in NZ until the first part of July. We're working on a box full of goodies tho and that's been heaps of fun Interesting to see how much love can get packed into a 1'-square package Working all day tomorrow, then papers, then the party will start We're having the g'arents and fam over for cake. JD's mostly looking forward to his sleepover Friday night when he and two of his best buddies will take over the house, devour pizzas, eat mint cookie icecream pie and just be boys, being boys! I cook -- then step back and watch the energy, smiling from ear-to-ear.
These are our real mother's days ... our kiddos' birth days.
